Listed in the Council's packet arE: :pine ldcations staff feels are important. There was <br />significant discussion by the Conunittee abcu.lt the need fdr' overpasses and underpasses, rather <br />than at-grade crossings. Consensus of the c()p1n1itteqwas to direct staff to draft a comprehensive <br />map of possible locations for trail crossings and p~destrian underpasses to be presented to the <br />Park Board for review prior to further discussion by the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated it is importanttb have a plan in place with the development and <br />building going on in the City. <br /> <br />Committee Input <br /> <br />167th MSA Alie:nment <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson explained Mr. Peterson of Oakwood Land Development was <br />present at the Public Works Committee meeting ancJ:!here Was a disc'llSsion of the alignment of <br />16ih Avenue west of CR 5. There were five properties that ~eed to be acquired for the <br />aliglUl1ent; Mr. Peterson has worked out a deal wi~ thre~;, of them. .. There are two remaining <br />property owners that are not in agreement~th.thelacquisition that Mr. Peterson went forward <br />with. The consensus of the Committee was to ,moye fOn:v~d with the 167th Alignment and to <br />propose it as a plan.
