<br />eligibility list to fill the patrol officer position that is expected to be authorized as part of the <br />2007 budget. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Police Chief Way explained if the second patrol officer is approved in the <br />budget he would like to have the two officers begin training at the s~e time to save qosts. <br />Finance Officer Lund indicated final adoption of the 2007 budget is scht1duled for December 12, <br />2006. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Olsoh, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Consider Reclassification of Senior Building Maintenance :Worker Position to <br />Building Maintenance Supervisor <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone explained Mr. Dan Bray has been employed wi'$ :the <br />City of Ramsey since August 21, 1989 and is currently employed as Senior Building <br />Maintenance Worker. As Senior Building Maintenance Worker, Mr. Btay'has been perfonning <br />supervisory duties as needed and requested. The Assistant City Administrator is recommending <br />that the Senior Building Maintenance Worker position be reclassified to Building Maintenance <br />Supervisor. With City Council approval, Mr. Bray's 2006 pay rate will be $22.82 perhour. The <br />pay increase for the remainder of 2006 will be funded with general fund dollars that were <br />designated for other positions but were not used because the other positiollS were hired later in <br />the year than expected. In 2007, the increase of approximately $3,500. will be funded! with <br />general personnel dollars from positions that will not be hired at the beginning of the year. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Resolution <br />#06-11-352 to consider reclassification of Senior Building Maintenapce Worker position to <br />Building Maintenance Supervisor. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated Mr. Bray was instrumental in the move to the new It1unicip~ center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, C0U11c~lmembers PearsQn, .Cook, Elvig~ J~:ffrey, <br />Olson, and Strommen.
