CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Members Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:07 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by a Boy Scout of Troop 262, who was present for his <br />Citizenship in Community Merit Badge. <br />Elk River High School Students introduced themselves and stated they were present for <br />Government Class. <br />Mayor Gamec announced he received letters from Boy Scouts Samuel Rottstien and Ben <br />Severson thanking the City for the assistance they received at the City Council meeting they <br />attended. One of the boys has concerns that he (Mayor) will be bringing up at a worksession. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />Mr. Dale McKusick, 6801 - 157th Lane NW, stated the county road ditch was redone in his back <br />yard, and they have put coffer dams in to raise the water level back up. He assumes this was to <br />City Council / November 14, 2006 <br />Page 3 of 31 <br />
