<br />Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO RECRUIT A <br />PART-TIME POLICE TECHNICIAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Police Chief has expressed a need to hire an additional police <br />technician; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this position was approved as part of the 2007 budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment process <br />for a part-time police technician. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confinns the recommendation of the City Council to do the following: <br /> <br />Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment process for a part-time police <br />technician. . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dilly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 9th day of January, 2007. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-1 60- C:\Documents and Settings\pmiller\Local Seltings\Temporary Intemet Files\OLK618\Auth to Recruit Polie Tech 1-9-07.doc <br />
