<br />Ms. Kushner noted that when considering external interim city administrator candidates she <br />would suggest that interviews be conducted and that the City request references from elected <br />officials and others. She also thought that a "google" search could be conducted and City staff <br />could speak with other HR professionals regarding a candidate's management style. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Topic #2: <br /> <br />Discussion with City Administrator <br /> <br />Council member Strommen stated that the primary purpose of the meeting with City <br />Administrator Norman was to discuss pending projects that would need to be transferred to other <br />. staff members.' City Apministrator Norman stated that he would provide Transition Team <br />_ members with a matrix of pending projects by December 8, 2006. <br /> <br />Transition Team members askeci-for City Administrator Norman's input on the city administrator <br />search. City Administrator Norman stated that he expected that the City would need an interim <br />administrator for six to nine months.
