5. 5. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />02/10/2026 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Strive for high organizational morale and employee retention <br />Title <br />Approve Adjustments to the Hourly Wages for Temporary Seasonal Employees Working in the Public Works <br />Department <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to formally authorize the 2026 budgeted hourly wage scale for temporary seasonal <br />employees working in the Public Works Department. This includes wages for temporary seasonal employees <br />working in the spring, summer and fall and excludes temporary AFSCME employees or on -call snowplow <br />drivers. <br />As part of the 2026 approved budget, the City Council agreed to increase the wage scale by 3%.
