CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />Title: <br />Adopt 2026 Legislative Priorities <br />5. 6. <br />02/10/2026 <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The City annually adopts legislative priorities. City Council reviewed 2025 outcomes and identified 2026 <br />priorities at their January 13, 2026 Work Session. The city will further work with Senator Bahr and <br />Representative Niska in an effort to have them understand what is important to the city. <br />2026 Priorities with local impacts include: <br />• Funding for continued study of Ramsey/Dayton Mississippi River Crossing <br />• Expansion of Metro Mobility Service Area to serve Ramsey <br />• Closed Landfill legislation to provide for industrial development <br />Time Frame/Observations/Alternatives: <br />This list represents known priorities at the beginning of the legislative session.
