Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-067 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2026 PAVEMENT <br />REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-10 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2026 includes $650,000.00 for street <br />maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public <br />street segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-031, adopted January 27, 2026, the <br />City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized <br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday January 30 and Friday <br />February 6, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, one (1) bid was received, opened and tabulated on March 3, 2026, and the following <br />bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids; and <br />Contractor <br />Corrective Asphalt Material LLC <br />Total Bid <br />$312,307.06 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Corrective Asphalt Material in the amount of $312,307.06 for the total bid <br />for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
