<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> <br />Cit) of Vi. <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br />Topic Report: Executive Search Firm Interviews <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the January 9, 2007 Work Session, the City Council evaluated the proposals often executive <br />search finns that are interested in assisting the City with recruiting and selecting anew. city <br />administrator. Four finns were selected to interview with the City Council: PersOImel Decisions <br />International; Sathe Executive Search; the Waters Consulting Group; and the Mercer Group. All <br />finns have confirmed that a representative will be in attendance for interviews with the City Council <br />on February 6, 2007. <br /> <br />Please note that the interview schedule has changed slightly in order to allow the City <br />Council a brief break between interviews. Due to the break, the City ,council will caucus <br />after all interviews have been completed. The interview schedule is as follows: <br /> <br />4:00p.m. -- 4:05 p.m. <br />4:05 p.m. -- 4:50 p.m. <br />4:55 p.m. - 5:40 p.m. <br />5:40 p.m. -- 6:10 p.m. <br />6: I 0 p.m. -- 6:55 p.m. <br />7:00 p.m. -- 7:45 p.m. <br />7:45 p.m. -- until <br /> <br />Review of interview process (City Council & staff) <br />Sathe Executive Search ' <br />Personnel Decisions International <br />Break <br />The Waters Consulting Group <br />The Mercer Group <br />Caucus <br /> <br />The interview format is as follows: <br /> <br />I minute: Introduction/welcome by the Mayor <br />10 minutes: Search fmn presentation <br />35 minutes: Q&A <br />I minute: Closing comments by the Mayor <br /> <br />A copy of the interview questions is attached for your review. Please note that staffhas reduced the <br />number of interview questions in an effort to stay within the 35 minute allotment for questions and <br />answers. <br />
