WHEREAS, the deadline to submit an application for the 2026-2028 grant cycle is April 17, <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, grant recipients will be notified by the Metropolitan Council in approximately <br />May 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey must provide a twenty percent match of the granted <br />amount. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to apply for Water Efficiency Grant funds for the <br />2026-2028 cycle in an amount of $14,000. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14' day of <br />April, 2026. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #26-092 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
