The <br />following phases and improvements were completed: <br /> <br />. Coburn's Retail Center: Additional tenants filled the retail/commercial space <br />including Cost Cutters, an optometrist, and a dentist. The City has worked <br />with the owners of the development, Solomon Real Estate Group, to help <br />identify potential tenants of the center. <br /> <br />. Ramsev Municipal CenterlParkin'i! Facilitv: The new Ramsey Municipal <br />Center was occupied by City staff at the end of October 2006 and the <br />Municipal Parking Facility was utilized by the public for Ramsey Happy Days <br />in September. <br /> <br />. Residential Developments. In 2006, there were not any new housing <br />developments approved within the Ramsey Town Center. However, <br />2006 saw new housing construction continue in several areas within <br />the Ramsey Town Center including the Gables of Town Center, <br />Symphony at Town Center, and RTC 8th, 9th, and 10th Addition. <br />There are two other subdivisions that received approval in late 2005, <br />RTC 6th and Ith Addition that have not yet begun construction. <br /> <br />. Ramsev Office Plaza. In late 2006, the Ramsey Office Plaza was <br />completed and occupied. The three-story 50,000 sq. ft. building on <br />Sunwood Drive will have a mixture of office and retail uses was <br />constructed by PSD LLC. The Ramsey Office Plaza is currently <br />leasing up its space. Current uses include offices for PSD LLC and <br />. Bolton and Menk Engineering. In 2006, the City approved and <br />interim use permit to allow for a drive-thru for a planned coffee shop <br />to be located on the first floor. <br /> <br />. RTC LLC Status. In late November 2006, Bruce Nedegaard passed <br />away from a long illness. While Mr. Nedegaard's passing and the <br />declining market conditions have extended the timeline for the <br />completion of the Ramsey Town Center project, it is important to <br />note that over 35 acres of land is held by other entities with plans to <br />develop their properties in 2007. <br /> <br />Code Enforcement: <br /> <br />In 2006, the Community Development department fielded roughly forty (40) complaints <br />concerning signs, illegal home businesses, tall grass/weeds, temporary accessory <br />buildings and other miscellaneous land use violations.
