Plans completed in 2005 have a line through them. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Objective: Work with Staff and the Community to fulfill the policy and vision direction <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />General Government Work Plan <br />I. Update the. City's Policy Manual. <br />2. Continue to work towards an e-agenda process, improve availability of city <br />records/documents on-line. <br />3. Make an application for an individual ZIP Code address for Ramsey residents. <br />4. Consider future use for of Old Town Hall renovation and potential relocation. <br />5. Reactivate Safety/Labor Management Committees. (Labor Mgmt. reactivated <br />in 2003). <br />6. Continue to work with the Police Department, Fire Department and the <br />Ramsey Elementary School on Emergency Evacuation Plan. (on-going) <br />7. Continue working with the Happy Days Committee to plan for the 2006 <br />Happy Days Festival events and parade. (on-going) <br />8. Continue working on improvement of content & design of Ramsey Resident. <br />9. Complete burial research & platting work for Trott Brook Cemetery to <br />establish official record. <br /> <br />Human Resources Work Plan <br />I. Recruit and select Patrol Officer, Public Works Streets Maintenance Worker, <br />Engineering Technician, Fire Secretary (increase by 0.5 FTE), Building <br />Maintenance Worker (0.5 FTE.), and Support Services Sergeant positions. <br />2. Recruit and select HR Tech, Building Inspector (2), Patrol Officer, ,^...ssisfant <br />Finance Officer, Community Service Officer, Fire Secretary positions. <br />3. Solicit and evaluate proposals for changes to the employee benefits program <br />(on- going). <br />4. Develop a formal orientation process for new employees, including <br />PowerPoint presentation. <br />5. Complete update of job descriptions for all positions in the City organization. <br />6. Update Personnel Policy. <br />7. Continue Annual Employee training programs (sexual harassment prevention, <br />CDL training, diversity, etc.). (on-going) <br />8. Develop reclassification/job evaluation policy. (Dress Code, Others) <br />9. Solicit proposals and complete organizational study in 2006. <br />10. Create a wellness program. <br />11. Work with IT in setting up a Human Resource Intranet service for city staff. <br />12. Solicit and evaluate proposals for a compensation and classification study. <br />
