Absent: Commissioner Brauer. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated November14, 2006 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated November 28, 2006 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request to Rezone Certain City-Owned Properties to <br />Public-Quasi Public; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:04 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearinf! <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner DaInes stated the City of Ramsey has recently codified a public-quasi public <br />zoning district. Within this district, all government buildings are permitted. In an effort to include <br />City-owned buildings within this district, staff is presenting a case to rezone both the current fire <br />station located at 15050 Armstrong Boulevard and the public works facility at 14100 Jaspar <br />Street to Public-Quasi Public. Most of Ramsey's city-owned parcels already appear in the <br />public-quasi public zoning district. However, it has come to staffs attention that the Ramsey Fire <br />Station on Armstrong and the public works facility on Jaspar both still resemble their original <br />zonmg. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
