Board Member Bentz commended Environmental Coordinator Anderson for creating the
reference list.

Chairperson McDilda stated that Ramsey's wetland buffer ordinance is on the next page
referencing Minnesota Board of Water & Soil Resources web site He suggested
referencing where the actual ordinance can be found on the City website. He stated he
was pleased that the ordinance page is relatively short, but prefers the idea of having a
contact person within the City.

Board Member Freeburg concurred that listing a contact person within the City should be
imperative.

Chairperson McDilda stated there should be a place to cross-reference the EPB and
where to attend meetings.

Chairperson McDilda stated the next section lists the four management classifications
and inventory. He suggested this be expanded based on the inventory.

Board Member Freeburg asked if the number of wetlands in Ramsey was stated
anywhere in the Wetland Guidebook.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson replied there is a section that was left blank where
a summary could be added about Ramsey's wetlands today.

Board Member Max suggested that there be a comparison to other metro areas.

Chairperson McDilda asked how Ramsey could be compared to cities without
inventories.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson replied there are a few cities that have done
inventories that might possibly be used as a comparison to Ramsey.

Board Member Bentz asked if there was a need for a definition of sequencing, Manage 2
and 3.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson replied that the average person may not know what
sequencing meant.

Board Member Max stated that it would be nice to see the book outlined as opposed to
headings.

Board Member Freeburg replied that the book isn't that big.

Board Member Max stated that page numbering might make a difference.

Chairperson McDilda stated that he wants to take another look at the inventory analysis.

Environmental Policy Board!
