• CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, January 16, <br />2007, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Also Present: Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />• Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />Justin Femrite, Chris Chromy and Bryan Nemeth, Bolton & Menk <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:27 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Feasibility Studies for 157 Lane & Ramsey Blvd Sewer & Water Extensions <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated the initiation of the Northwest Sanitary Sewer and Water <br />Project has caused interest among some existing residential properties in the area for connecting <br />to municipal services. Two petitions were received requesting sanitary sewer and water <br />extensions. One for 157 Lane east of Ramsey Boulevard and the second from nine property <br />owners along Ramsey Boulevard between 149 Avenue and 153` Avenue. Feasibility studies <br />have been drafted for each of these potential projects and had been reviewed by the Public <br />Works Committee on July 18, 2006. While some direction was provided, it was the <br />• recommendation of the Committee that these studies be discussed by Council at a work session. <br />City Council Work Session f January 16, 2007 <br />Page 1 of 10 <br />—173— <br />
