<br />CITY NEWSLETTER <br />ANNUAL PET CLINIC <br /> <br />Ramsey's annual spring pet vaccination clinic will be held on <br />Saturday, April 29, 2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 1 :00 p.m. in the garages of <br />the lower level of the new Police Building located on the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center campus at 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW. Please <br />use the Nowthen Boulevard/County Road 5 entrance and follow signs. <br />Details about the veterinary clinic and exact prices were not <br />available at publication time, but the expectation is that, as in past <br />years, the following shots will be offered at an exceptional discounted <br />rate: <br /> <br />Rabies (canine and feline) ....~~._.~) <br />DHLP-P (canine) ..~ l~~v ~ <br />(Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, ~...~~ <br />. . {Parainfl.uenza, Parvovirus) ~tl. 2 <br />. , .~.-:""_ Pan RC-C-P (felIne) ~ .-J. <br />(Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleuk:openia, <br />Pneumonitis, Clamydia) <br /> <br />Dogs and cats must be at least three months of age to be <br />vaccinated for rabies. City Code requires that all dogs and cats be <br />licensed and vaccinated against rabies. City personnel will be available <br />to issue dog and cat licenses and identification tags at the pet clinic. If <br />your dog or cat has been vaccinated recently but you do not have a <br />current license, you may obtain a license at the clinic by bringing in <br />the current rabies vaccination certificate. The license fee is normally <br />$8.00 for neutered males and females and $20.00 for unneutered males <br />and females, but will be reduced to $3.00 for neutered males and <br />females and $5.00 for unneutered males and females during the Pet <br />Clinic. Dogs and cats must be licensed when they reach six months <br />of age. <br />To be eligible to receive the lower prices at the pet <br />clinic for vaccinations, all residents must purchase a license <br />for their cat or dog if they do not already have a current one. <br />Licenses are good for a maximum of two years, so please bring <br />your paper copy with you to the pet clinic. Anyone from another <br />city must show proof of animal license to receive vaccinations. <br />There will be NO exceptions. <br />If planning to pay by check, please bring two check <br />blanks.
