<br />Registration for RYAA Girls Softball (ages 9 -14) and for Northern
<br />Lights Soccer (ages 5 -14) will be held on the following dates:

<br />All registration will be held in the Recreation Building at Central
<br />Park, 161" & Armstrong Boulevard.
<br />As always, coaches and sponsors are needed for both sports.
<br />RYAA's Election of Officers will be held at the January Annual
<br />Meeting on Tuesday, January 25, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. in the recreation building
<br />at Central Park. All positions for Board Members are open, as well as
<br />other various positions. If you are interested in becoming a member of the
<br />RYAA volunteer team, please attend this very important meeting.
<br />If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Election of
<br />Officers, the sports sign -up, or are interested in sponsoring a team, please

<br />WASTE FACILITY HOURS TO
<br />CHANGE
<br />The Anoka County Household
<br />Hazardous Waste Facility schedule will start
<br />off - season hours in November. The household
<br />hazardous waste facility will be open
<br />Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and
<br />Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through
<br />March 2000. The facility will be closed
<br />Sundays, Mondays, Tuesday and Friday. The
<br />facility is located at 3230 — 10V Avenue NE
<br />in Blaine.
<br />Examples of household hazardous
<br />wastes that are accepted at the facility include
<br />acids, aerosol cans with product remaining,
<br />antifreeze, driveway sealer, gasoline and other
<br />fuels, liquid paint, liquid mercury, paint thinner,
<br />paint stripper, pesticides, wood preservatives,
<br />used motor oil and used oil filters.
<br />Residents dropping off gasoline or
<br />fuels at the household hazardous waste facility
<br />are advised that containers cannot be returned
<br />at this time. Used motor oil containers may be
<br />returned upon request.
<br />Users of the facility must provide proof
<br />of residency, such as driver's license.
<br />Wastes that are not accepted include
<br />waste from businesses, schools, or
<br />organizations, ammunitions, appliances,
<br />batteries, dried paint, empty containers,
<br />fluorescent lamps, medical waste, radioactive
<br />waste, railroad ties, tires or unidentified waste.
