Enrolling in the WIC program benefits the
family and saves money. The earlier in the pregnancy that women enroll in the
WIC program the greater the benefit to women and their babies.
"We want to make sure as many families as possible learn about WIC's
new income guideline because the program is so beneficial," said Anoka County
Commissioner Margaret Langfield. "I am pleased more women and children in
Anoka County will qualify to enroll in the WIC Nutrition Program and receive
nutrition and health information and food coupons for healthy foods."
WIC Annual Income Guidelines
Family Size
1
2
3
4
5
Each additional
family member add
Pregnant Women and
Infants under Age 2
22,656
30,420
38,172
45,924
53,676
7,752
Children — Ages 2 -
15,244
20,461
25
30,895
36,112
5.217
*Pregnant Women count as two or more
For more information, or to enroll, call the Anoka County WIC Program
at 612- 422 -7055 or 1- 800 - WIC -4030 for the location of a WIC program in
your area.
DO YOU NEED HELP SHOPPING?
CALL US
THE SHOP EASY PROGRAM
If you need help grocery shopping, this program is for you.
