Parent /Child Discovering Nature's Secrets <br />The shade tree varieties that will be for 9:00 a.m. <br />sale include Gingko, Hackberry, Linden, <br />Oak, Maples, Cottonwood, Norway and Petting Zoo <br />White pines, spruce, crabapples, variety 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. <br />apples, pie and sand cherry trees. Other Log Sawing Demo with Carl Vogt <br />plants that will be featured are blueberry 9:00 a.m. <br />bushes, raspberry canes, strawberries, and Boy Scout Troop #362 - Perennial Sale <br />plum trees. Seedlings, potted plants, and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 <br />bare root plants will be priced from $5.00 i p.m. <br />to $50.00. Games for Kids (Cafeteria) <br />Green Valley Greenhouse will be 9:00 a.m. <br />at the Expo again this year with flowers Tree Climbing & Pruning Demo with Tom Dunlap <br />and hanging baskets; Anoka Ramsey Farm % 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon <br />and Garden will have vegetable plantings. Master Gardeners: Q & A Booth <br />The Master Gardeners, Ramsey 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 <br />Shademakers, and students will again be p.m. <br />bagging seedlings in compost for ease of � Turtles, Snakes, Lizards, Rocks & Minerials <br />planting. The Minnesota DNR Forest <br />Nursery, with Art Widerstrom, our Metro <br />District Forester, will again be providing <br />Arbor Day seedlings. Those seedlings will <br />include Black Walnut, White Pine, White <br />Spruce, and Norway pine, which is the <br />state tree of Minnesota. <br />The local nurseries that will be <br />participating include Maple LeafNursery, <br />Henke Nursery, Northwind Nursery, <br />Better Yards and Gardens, Berry Hill <br />Farms, Green Valley Greenhouse, Savanna <br />Garden Nursery, Wirz Nursery, Morton's <br />Nursery, Viking Trees, and Anoka Ramsey <br />Farm & Garden. <br />Hope to see you there!
