Wanted: Food Vendors and <br />Parade Entrants <br />HAPPY DAYS TEEN DANCE <br />A Teen Dance will be held on Friday, September 14t'' in <br />celebration of the youth of our community. The dance will be <br />held this year at the Lord of Life's new Community Life Center <br />and will be open to kids in grades 5 — 8. The fun begins at 6:30 <br />p.m. and will go until 9:00 p.m. Music and games will be provided <br />by Twin City Sounds. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the <br />evening. There will be great prizes for games, too. Admission <br />to the kids' dance will be $3.00. <br />Harry DAYS CAR SHOW <br />The Ramsey Car Show is sponsored by Wendell's of <br />Ramsey. This show will be a Minnesota Street Rod Association <br />Car of the Year voting event. The show will run from 10:00 a.m. <br />to 2:00 p.m. Top twenty pick will be at 1:00 p.m. from the <br />participants. There will be Door prizes given out during the <br />event. <br />This should bring out some of Minnesota's finest Street <br />Rods, Custom, and Classic car. Come and join the fun in the <br />sun at Ramsey City Hall, September 15, 2001. For more <br />information call Kim Moore -Sykes at 763 - 427 -1410 or Jim <br />Green at 763-417-6945. <br />MORE FUN THAN YOU CAN <br />SHAKE A STICK AT! <br />That's what folks are saying about the Ramsey Happy <br />Days Festival, especially the kids events. This year's featured <br />kids performer will be Oscar and Half -Pint and will kick off the <br />festivities for the kids at 11:00 a.m. Their show is guaranteed to <br />keep everyone in stitches. <br />In addition to Oscar and Half Pint, there will be many <br />more events for your children to enjoy. There will be an entrance fee <br />for the 5K run and the money collected will be donated <br />to a charity. The Fun Run will start at 1:00 p.m. and <br />the 5K Run will start at 1:30 p.m. <br />For more information and registration <br />materials, please call Duane Arens at 763 - 323 -2719 <br />or City Hall at 763 - 427 -1410. <br />Rock with the Rockin <br />Hollywoods at the <br />Street Dance, Saturday, <br />September 15th. <br />SUMMER DAYS <br />AT THE KELLEY FARM <br />Spend some summer days and explore <br />Minnesota's agricultural past learning how farming <br />was done in the mid- 1800's. The Oliver Kelley Farm, <br />celebrating 150 years of agriculture, is a great place <br />to learn about our state's agricultural history with <br />hands -on activities and demonstrations. The Kelley <br />Farm is located 2 -1/2 miles southeast of Elk River <br />on U.S. Highway 10.
