For three years In a row, <br />Ramsey has been recognized as a National Award Winner for outstanding <br />participation in National Night Out. <br />This year we are lookmg for three (3) volunteers from the community to <br />help plan this city-wide event. Volunteers would assist in creating a "theme" for <br />our celebration; determining lcid's activities, contests and awards; and promoting <br />celebrations throughout the community for families and businesses. <br />The time commitment is only a few hours a month through the end of <br />July - and the time is flexible. We meet as a group - when YOU ARE <br />AVAILABLE. Extra help is needed during the last weel< of July. <br /> <br />NNO is designed to: <br />· Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness <br />· Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs <br />· Strengthen neighborhood and police community partnerships <br />· Send a message to criminals letting them l<now that neighborhoods are <br />organized and fighting bacl< <br />Contact Chandra Kreyer, Crime Prevention Specialist at 763.433.9891 <br />or via e-mail atcl<reyer@ci.ramsey.mn. us by May 12th. <br />Everyone hears what you say.
