Ramsey's Adopt -a -Flag <br />Program <br />This year will mark America's <br />Semiquincentennial, celebrating <br />250 years since the signing of the <br />Declaration of Independence. A <br />great way to honor the occasion is by <br />sponsoring an American flag at the City <br />of Ramsey. Flags are currently lining <br />Sunwood Drive NW near the Ramsey Municipal Center. <br />Ramsey Public Works crews place the flags on light poles <br />shortly before Memorial Day and take them down after <br />Veterans Day. <br />Participants can choose between two donation levels: <br />the Friends -of -the -Flag Level for just $50 or the generous <br />Patriot Level for $500. Each sponsor receives a certificate of <br />appreciation and a location map, an engraved nameplate <br />displayed in the Municipal Center, and their name featured <br />on the City website. <br />If you have more questions about sponsoring a flag, please <br />contact Kathy Schmitz at kschmitz(a cityoframsey.com or <br />763-433-9844. <br />Refresh Your Drivin <br />The Precision Driving Center <br />of Minnesota is announcing <br />its upcoming 55+ Driver <br />Discount Program, designed <br />to enhance driving safety for <br />senior drivers. The program will <br />be held on Tuesday, May 19, <br />from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., or on Monday, June 15, from 12:00 <br />to 4:00 p.m., at the Ramsey Municipal Building, 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW. <br />Ramsey residents can enroll for free, thanks to the <br />Ramsey Lions. Everyone is welcome to attend, but non - <br />Ramsey residents will pay a fee. Registration is required for <br />all attendees, including those attending for free.
