<br />RESOLUTION VACATING RIGHT-OF-WAY IN GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL
<br />PARK RECITALS
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Waste Connections of Minnesota, Inc., doing business as Ace Solid Waste,
<br />Inc. (the “Applicant”) has requested the vacation of the Right-of-Way for Basalt Street
<br />Northwest, including public roadway, drainage, and utility easements, on the property legally
<br />described as:
<br />
<br />That part of Basalt Street NW, as created by the plat of GATEWAY NORTH
<br />INDUSTRIAL PARK, Anoka County, Minnesota, more particularly described as
<br />follows:
<br />Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Lot 1A, Block 1, ACE ADDITION, as recorded
<br />in Anoka County, Minnesota, also being the Southwest corner of Basalt Street NW,
<br />thence South 66 degrees 12 minutes 47 seconds East, assumed bearing along the North
<br />line of Lot 1, Block 1, ACE ADDITION, 72.24 feet to the Southeast corner of Basalt
<br />Street NW and the East line of the West 266 feet of Lot 1, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION
<br />NO. 30, as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota; thence North 00 degrees 11 minutes 42
<br />seconds West, along East line of Basalt Street NW and said East line of the West 266 feet
<br />of Lot 1, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 30, 147.16 feet to the South line of the North
<br />250 feet of AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 30, also being the South line of Lot 2,

<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing, pursuant to Section 106-120 (Easement Vacation) of the

<br />Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter, was held on May 12, 2026, and that
<br />said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are
<br />available; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the right-of-way will be replaced with dedicated drainage and utility
<br />nd
<br />easements with the recording of the plat known as Ace 2 Addition; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Engineering Department has reviewed the request and has no
<br />objection to the right-of-way vacation; and
