7 LORD OF LIFE THE LIVING PASSION PLAY You're invited to experience Ramsey's Lord of Life's "JESUS", The Living Passion Play this Easter Season! Performances will be March 26th and 27th at 7:00 p.m., March 28th at 2:00 p.m., April 2nd and 3rd at 7:00 p.m., and April 4th at 2:00 p.m. There is no cost for admission, but we do asl( that you get tickets in advance. Please call 763-427-1100, ext. 126 for tickets, and for information regarding our hearing impaired performance, handicap seating, or child care or log onto Lord of Life's website, www.lol.org. (Please note that your ticket will be a free will donation.) DOLLARS INTO SENSE CLASSES Anol(a County Extension Service Staff and Dollar Works Volunteers will present Free Dollars Into Sense classes on March 16 and April 20, 10:00 a.m. at the Bunl(er Hills Activities Center (550 Bunl(er Lake Blvd, Andover) and again at 7:00 p.m. at the Northtown Library (711 County Rd 10 NE, Blaine). To register, call the University of Minnesota Extension Service, Anoka County, at 763-755-1280 at least three days prior to the class you wish to attend. Classes will cover budgeting and address credit issues, tracl(ing expenses, making a spending plan, goal setting and how to get help. -' -- --: ~-:= This year Ramsey's two ice rink locations (Central Park & the Elementary School site) opened for the season on Friday, December 19th, and closed for the season on Sunday, February 22nd. Both skating facilities had great ice for most of the season and experienced record attendance levels. Central Park had 3,759 visitors and the Elementary School site had 3,407 visitors. The 2004- 2005 season will begin on Friday, December 17th, at 3 :30 pm. Thanl( you for the wonderful season. SPRING W ATERMAIN FLUSHING IN APRIL The Public Worl(s Department will be doing their semi- annual flushing of watermains and hydrants beginning Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 23rd. Please be aware that this flushing, while it is necessary, will create a disturbance in the system and may cause your water to be discolored. Although the water may be discolored by rust, it is fit for human consumption but it may stain clothes that are being washed. To alleviate this problem, you may want to fill your washer with water and checl( on its clarity before adding your clothes. We appreciate your patience and regret any inconvienence that this may cause. ATTENTION SNOWMOBILERS IN ANOKA COUNTY Are you a member of your local snowmobile club? You should be! Joining a club isn't just an excellent way to meet other snowmobilers in your area; more importantly, participation in your local club can positively affect the future of snowmobiling in your community. In order to preserve our right to ride in this area, we need to band together - we all lmow there is strength in numbers. The Ramsey Snow-Rams are always seel(ing new members to join our club. Our club brings sledders of all ages together to promote and enjoy the positive aspects of this sport that we love. Throughout the year, we are involved in various activities including teaching snowmobile safety classes, participating in the Anoka Halloween Parades, working at Happy Days, and Adopt-A-Roadway clean up. All club members automatically receive a membership in MnUSA, the state organization that is dedicated to maintaining our rights as snowmobilers in Minnesota. By joining our club, you are supporting snowmobiling in your own community, as well as throughout the state. With winter finally here, now is the time to join a club and mal(e a difference! The Snow-Rams meet at 7:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at Holm's SuperBowl off Highway #10 in Ramsey.
