The filing period for these offices begins <br />at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, and ends at 4:30 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, July 20, 2004. <br />Candidates for the following offices file with the City Clerk, City of <br />Ramsey, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. Friday, <br />September 17th and Saturday, September 18th. <br />Once again the festival will kick off on Friday, September 17th with a <br />great Teen Dance held at Lord of Life Church from 6:30 p.m. – 9:OOp.m. <br />A rockin' DJ will be on hand and great prizes will be given away following the <br />dance. Admission is $2.00 per person. This dance is for students in 5 th _ 8th <br />grades. For more information contact Teen Dance Chairperson, Des Haspert <br />at 763 - 421 -1568. <br />Saturday events include a Car Show, Craft Show, Dog Pull and <br />Threshing Exhibit all beginning at 10:OOam on the Ramsey City Hall <br />Campus. Food vendors will be on hand throughout the day. Kid's old <br />fashioned games will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:OOpm. on the Ramsey City <br />Hall campus. Registration forms for the Car Show and Craft Fair are included <br />in this newsletter or on the City of Ramsey website at www.ci.ramsey.mn.us. <br />New to Happy Days this year is a Photo Contest. Photo Contest rules are <br />available on the City of Ramsey website or at City Hall. Photography <br />categories are Furry and Feathered Friends, Landscapes, and Vintage Ramsey <br />(circa 1974). NW <br />The City of Ramsey has been <br />considering for some time the construction <br />of a new City Hall and Police Facility within <br />the new Town Center development located <br />between Armstrong Blvd and Ramsey Blvd <br />along Highway 10. Earlier this spring, the <br />City Council authorized a Schematic Design <br />and Visioning Process for the project. City <br />Council and Staff is seeking input from the <br />community regarding the uses and aesthetics <br />of the facility.
