The drivers try their best, but it's not easy
lmowing exactly where the edge of the road is at all times, especially
at 3 a.m. in the middle of a snow storm!

Q. Why won't the city repair my sprinl(ler system or other improvements
I've made in the right-of-way (ROW) when they damage it
plowing?
A. The City retains ownership of the ROW, which in most cases is
12-15 feet from the edge of the road. This ROW is reserved for
utilities and their equipment, snow storage, sidewalks, etc. Any
improvements made to the ROW by the homeowner are done so
at their risl(.

Q. Who do I call if I have a complaint or comment about snowplowing
A. Call the City of Ramsey's snow plow information hotline at 763-
433-9852, and leave a message containing your name, address,
phone number and a brief description of your problem or concern.
The policy of the Public Works department is to return all phone
calls, or meet with residents if they so request.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once. - Ashleigh Brilliant
