<br />Public Safety <br /> <br />Attention Snowmobilers! <br /> <br />Effective September 2005, <br />recreational vehicles MAY NOT be <br />operated south of the 16700 block in <br />the city. Recreational vehicles may be <br />operated only on the operator's prop- <br />erty, on private property with written <br />permission, or on private property <br />posted that "recreational vehicles are <br />allowed" in this area. <br />This new recreational vehicle <br />ordinance is being implemented to <br />provide reasonable regulations for the <br />operation of snowmobiles, all-terrain <br />vehicles, off-highway motorcycles <br /> <br />and other recreational vehicles on <br />public and private property within the <br />city of Ramsey. <br />An area for loading and unload- <br />ing of snowmobiles and ATV's will be <br />available in the parking lots of <br />Central and Elmcrest Parks, with a <br />route available to access the designat- <br />ed use area, north of the 16700 block. <br />A map of the designated use <br />area and the Recreational Vehicle <br />Ordinance are available on our web- <br />site or by contacting the Ramsey <br />Police Department at 763-427-6812. <br /> <br />Free Car Seat INSPECTIONS for <br />Anoka County Residents <br /> <br />The Anoka County Chapter of Minnesota Safe Kids offers several car seat <br />clinics throughout the year for Anoka County residents to have their car seats <br />inspected by trained technicians. Four out of five car seats are installed wrong! <br />Get yours checked.
