<br />~ <br /> <br />Recycling in Ramsey is easier <br />than ever and it's a great way to help <br />reduce waste! The list of acceptable <br />materials has expanded and now <br />includes all of the following: corru- <br />gated cardboard, boxboard (cereal, <br />cake and chip boxes), newspaper, <br />magazines, junk mail, office/comput- <br />er paper, phone books, paperback <br />books, #1 and #2 plastic containers <br />with necks, glass food and beverage <br />containers (all colors), aluminum, <br />steel, and tin food and beverage cans, <br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br />Recycling in Ramsey <br /> <br />and clothing that is clean, dry and in <br />good condition. <br />All containers can be placed <br />directly into the recycling bin without <br />being separated. Paper products <br />should be placed in a paper bag and <br />placed next to or in the recycling bin. <br />In early to mid 2006, Ramsey will be <br />converting to the new single sort col- <br />lection and residents will no longer <br />need to separate any acceptable <br />materials! Watch for details on this <br />exciting new program in upcoming <br /> <br />Christmas Tree Disposal Options <br /> <br />Anoka Ramsey Farm & Garden, <br />located at 7435 Highway 10 NW will <br />again be accepting Christmas trees <br />(NO flocked trees, wreaths, or trees <br />containing wire or stands) Monday- <br />Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and <br />Saturdays 9:00 pm - 5:00 pm through <br />the month of January from Ramsey <br />residents. Anoka Ramsey Farm & <br />Garden has offered to provide a free <br />10-pound bag of bird seed for any <br />Ramsey resident dropping off a <br />Christmas tree.
