Four out of five car seats are installed wrong! Getting a little <br />tired of the tricks that Mother Nature <br />is playing this winter? It's time to <br />start thinking about summer fun and <br />mal(ing plans for your l(ids! The <br />Ramsey Kid's Safety Camp is a great <br />place to start the summer out safely. <br />The 5th Annual Ramsey Kids <br />Safety Camp will be on June 20-21, <br />2006. Camp is limited to 144 chil- <br />dren and will be filled on a first <br />come basis. Priority regis- <br />tration is given to Ramsey <br />residents and first time <br />attendees. <br />A registration fee of <br />$25.00 includes activities, <br />supplies, snacks and lunch- <br />es, bike helmet, t-shirt, hat, <br />family barbeque and awards <br />ceremony. Limited scholar- <br />ships are available. <br />Registration forms are avail- <br />able at the Ramsey Police <br />Department located at 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd NW (behind City <br />Hall), or on the web at: www.ci.ram- <br />sey.mn. us/community_events. asp. <br /> <br /> <br />2006 Bike Helmet Fitting Clinics <br /> <br />Nationwide, bil(e related crash- <br />es kill over 900 people every year <br />and send about 567,000 to hospital <br />emergency rooms with injuries. <br />Wearing a bike helmet can reduce <br />the risk of head injury by 850/0. <br />Safe Kids Anoka County wants <br />to make sure your family has bil(e <br />helmets. During the months of April <br />and May, we will be traveling around <br />the county distributing and properly <br />fitting bike helmets. The cost of a <br />stylish new helmet is $8.50 and we <br /> <br />are happy to fit helmets you already <br />own.
