City Staff was directed to schedule the public hearing for the <br />regular Plamning Commission meeting on May 1, 2003. The following items are enclosed for <br />your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br />e) <br /> <br />Plarming Commission meeting minutes dated April 3, 2003. <br />Memo from Planning Consultant Loren Gordon dated April 24, 2003 <br />summarizing proposed amendments. <br />Draft Planning Commission public hearing and meeting minutes dated May 1, <br />2003. <br />Petitioa from residents of Rivlyn Street neighborhood <br />Proposed ordinance text <br />Color proposed zoning map will be available at the meeting <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Staff implemented changes to the text as directed by the Planning Commission on April 3. On <br />May 1, 2003, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed text <br />and map changes to the following sections of Chapter 9: Introduction, Definitions, <br />Administration, B-1 Business, B-2 Business, E-1 Employment, E-2 Employment, Mixed Use- <br />Planned Unit Development, and Public/Semi-Public Facilities District. <br /> <br />At the public hearing, the following 3 areas were specifically discussed with respect to the <br />proposed zoning: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Rivlyn Street neighborhood south of Hwy. # 10; <br />Holasek/Hamilton property west of Comfort Suites and south of Riverdale; <br />Commercial property east and west of the intersection at Alpine Driye N.W. and <br />Hwy, #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Residents of the Rivlyn Street neighborhood were opposed to their property being rezoned from <br />Residential to Employment and also questioned the. accuracy of the map that was mailed out with <br /> <br />99 <br /> <br /> <br />
