As an alternative rnethod for screening, fences that <br /> <br />are 100 percent opaque may be used to mitigate the impacts <br />of businesses that are adiacent to residential areas. Fences <br /> <br />shall be subject to the provisions found in Section 9.11.17. <br />When a fence is used for screening purposes, the buffervard <br />plantin~ requirements may be reduced bv t0 percent from <br /> <br />the stated minil:num requirement. <br /> <br />s.
