9.13.02 Definitions <br /> <br /> Class I Lands - are lands on which the water table remains greater than <br /> six (6) feet be[ow the surface through the year, and: <br /> <br /> a. The soil is moderately permeable .with slopes not exceeding 12%. <br /> <br /> b. Ttxe soil is rapidly permeable with slopes not exceeding 18%. <br /> <br /> Class II Lands - are lands on which the water table remains at two (2) to <br />six (6) feet below the ground surface throughout the year, and: <br /> <br /> a. Soils are moderately permeable with slopes ranging between 12% <br /> and 1 $%. <br /> <br /> b. Soils are slowly permeable ~vith slopes not exceeding 12%. <br /> <br /> Class iii Lands - are lands on which the water table remains greater than <br />six (6) feet below the surface throughout the year, and <br /> <br /> a. Soils are moderately permeable and slopes exceed 18%; <br /> b. Soils are rapidly permeable and sl'opes exceed 18%; <br /> c. Soils m'e slowly permeable and slopes exceed 12%. <br /> <br /> Class tV Land's - are lands on which the water table does not remain <br />greater than six (6) k'eet below the surface throughout the yem' or lands considered to be <br />floodplain and subject to flooding. <br /> <br /> Class V Lands - are lands which have steep slopes, over 12%. <br /> <br /> Floodplain - is lands adjacent to rivers, lakes, creeks, drainage-ways, <br />marshes and other lowland areas which are subject to inundation by runoff from the 100 <br />year regional storm or tlm t00 year snow-snow-melt runoff event. <br /> <br /> Sewage Disposal Ch,qpter - is a chapter of the City known as "A Chapter <br />Providing for the Constructibn and Maintenance Of Sewage Disposal Systems" and any <br />subsequent amend meats to that chapter. <br /> <br /> Soil Absorption System - is a system constructed in conformance to the <br />City Sewage Disposal Chapter for the purpose of the disposal of septic tank effluent by <br />soil absorption. <br /> <br />406 9-109 <br /> <br /> <br />
