Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved foL' its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-06- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL. WHEREAS, on May 5, 2003, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an application from Oak Creek Builders Inc. to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY couNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI(A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That Oak Creek Builders Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly applied to rezone the following legally described property from R-1 Single Family Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential: That part of the north half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying northerly of 157 Avenue NW mid lying easterly of the easterly right of way line of Anoka County Highway right-of-way Plat No. 1, except that part thereof lying west of the following described line: Commencing at the intersection of the north line of said north half of the Southwest Quarter with the east line of said Anoka county Highway right-of-way Plat No. 1; thence easterly along the said north line 214.98 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southerly at an angle to the left from said north line of 93 degrees 04 minutes 26 seconcls a distance of 196.19 feet, more or less, to the northerly line of said [ 53''d Avenue NIW and said line there terminating. (the "Subject Property") That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on June 5, 2003, and said public hearing ~vas prope,'ly advertised, and the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 1.5 acres. That the ScLbject Property is located-within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) boundary. 5. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-1 Single Fm'nily Residential.
