104 <br /> <br />9.12.18 <br /> <br />Permit Issuance or Denial <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The Zoning Administrator shall issue a permit for the erection, alteration, <br />or relocation of a sir within fourteen (14) days of receipt of a completed, application and non- <br />refundable application fee provided that the sign complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the <br />City. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. When a permit is denied, written notice shall be provided to the applicant along <br />with a brief statement of the reasons for denial. The Zoning Administrator or Building Official may <br />suspend or revoke an issued permit for any false statement or misrepresentation of fact in the <br />application. <br /> <br />9.12.19 Refunds <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. If an issued permit is withdrawn by the applicant within ninety (90) days <br />of issuance, and if no inspections have been made and no work authorized by the permit has been <br />perfo.rmed, fifty percent (50%) of the permit fee may be refunded to the applicant. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. A permit issued by the Zoning Administrator becomes null and void if work is <br />suspended or abandoned or not completed within <br />issuance, but may be reinstated with an additional payment of one-half of the orig-inal fee. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Any sign installed or placed on any parcel prior to receipt of a permit, t~ <br />specified permit fee shall be doubled. However, the payment of the doubled fee shall not relieve any <br />person of any other requirement or penalties prescribed in this Section. <br /> <br />9.12.20 Administration <br /> <br /> I <br />! <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The Zoning Administrator. shall' process applications for permits. The m <br />Building Official is empowered, upon presentation of proper credentials, to enter or inspect any <br />building, structure, or parcel in the City for the purpose of inspection of a sign and its structural and <br />electrical connections to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> <br />9.12.21 Violations <br /> <br /> Subdivision I. When, in the opinion of the Zoning Administrator, a violation of the <br />Code exists, the Zoning AdminisU'ator shall issue a written order to either the owner of the sign, or the <br />owner of the property, or tenant' leasinz the ~ro~ercv. on which the sign is placed. The order shall <br />specify, those sections of the Code involved, describe the violation and shall direct that the violation be <br />corrected within ~, ;.-, ,,.=, v ~-,~'n~w five (5') days. from the date oft he order, unless otherwise specified by the <br />Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> Subd. 2.
