94 <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Political Signs posted by a candidate for political of Sce, or by a person <br />~oup promoting a political issue or a political candidate may be placed in any disU-icr. Political si~zns <br />are limited to ti-fifty-two (_32) square feet in area and such signs shall be removed within seven (7) days <br />following the election. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. .Garage Sale and Craft Sale Signs. Advertising and directional garage <br />and craft sale signs are limited to six (6) square feet and shall be of the. free-standing ~,~pe only. Garage <br />and craft sale signs shall be placed on private property only and shall have the property owner's <br />permission. All such sale signs shall be removed wi'~hin twenty-four (24) hours after the completion of <br />the sale. A fixed fee, as established by City Council, per si~ not removed within 24 hours following <br />the completion of the sale will be charged and said charges will be used to defray the cost of removal by <br />the City. Garage and craft sale signs shall identify, the dates of the sale, name, address and telephone <br />number of the sign awner. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Construction Signs identifying the parties involved in the construction to <br />occur or occurring on the parcel may be installed upon a construction site in any disu'/ct, provided such <br />sign does not exceed eiff~ry (80) square feet in commercial, industrial and multi-family districts and six <br />(6) square feet in single family residential distr/cts. There shall not be more than one (1) temporary <br />construction sign for each project or development, except that where a project or development abuts two <br />(2) or more streets, additional such signs, one (1) oriented to each abutting street, shall be pe~nrdtted. <br />Tempoia~,-y construction signs shall be located only upon the legally described parcel on the building <br />permit. Temporary construction signs are exempt from the perrrfit and fee requirements but shall be <br />allowed only as accessory to an approved building permit for a project or development. Tempora' <br />consu'uction sign~ s may be erected and maintained for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days prior ko thc <br />commencement of construction and shall be removed with/n fourteen (14) days of the issuance of the <br />certificate of occupancy. Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of leasing, selling Or promoting <br />a residential project or any non-residential project are: <br /> <br />Exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be allowed only as <br />accessory to an approved subdivision plat or site plan; <br /> <br />2. Limited to sixty-four (64) square feet [n area; <br /> <br />Limited to one (I)' such si~mn per street frontage upon which 'the property <br />abuts, exclusive of directional signs; <br /> <br />To be removed when the project is one-hundred percent (100%) complete <br />sold or leased; <br /> <br /> <br />
