5. Not to be located within fifty (50 feet) of a pre-existing residence. <br /> <br />Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing individual parcels <br />or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property and thirty-two <br />(32) square feet for non-residential property; <br /> <br />Limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the property <br />abuts, exclusive of directional signs (Exception: An additional "Open House" <br />sign may be used); <br /> <br />4. To be removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or sale. <br /> <br /> Subd. 6. Portable Signs are permitted only in business and industrial type districts <br />and are subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for portable signs <br />shall be allowed for ter,-¢t-0) seven (7) day periods,,,~,r .... trnx,/six (6) times a year per business. However, <br />where more than one (1) proprietorship or business uses the same building or parcel, no more than one <br />Ct-) two (2) portable sign device shall be in place at any one time. <br /> <br /> Subd. 7. Public Event Signs may be erected and maintained for a period not to <br />exceed thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the event is scheduled to occur and shall be removed <br />within forty-eight (48) hours of the termination of said event. A fixed fee, as established by City <br />Council, per sign not removed within 48 hours following the termination of the event will be charged <br />and said charges will be used to defray the cost of removal by the City. Number, location and size of <br />said public event signs shall be subject to the approval of the Zoning Administrator with consideration <br />given to the public safety and the signage reasonably necessary and appropriate for the intended <br />purpose. <br /> <br />9.12.06 District Regulations. In addition to those signs permitted or required in all districts as <br />described in {}9.12.03 (General Provisions) and {}9.12.05 (Temporary Signs), the following signs are <br />permitted in each specific district and shall be regulated as to size, location and character according to <br />the requirements herein set forth. <br /> <br />9.12.07 Residential Type Districts <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Area Identification Signs. One (1). sign per vehicular access to a <br />development, not to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area is permitted. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. <br />Section 9.12.05. <br /> <br />Temporary Signs. Temporary signs are permitted in accordance with <br /> <br />271 <br /> <br /> <br />
