Natural Obstruction - Any rock, tree, gravel or analogous natural matter <br />that is an obstruction and has been located within a water body, watercourse, or wetland <br />by a non human cause. <br /> <br /> Non-domestic Sewage (Process Waste Water) - Sewage discharges <br />generated from such uses as restaurants, laundromats, barber and beauty shops, car <br />washes, and other types of commercial Or industrial establishments. <br /> <br /> Nonconforming Structure - A building or structure which is a <br />nonconforming use as defined in this Section. <br /> <br /> Nonconforming Use- A building, structure, premise, Or use which does <br />not comply or conform with the applicable conditions or provisions of this Chapter. <br /> <br /> Nonconforming Use - Illegal - A building, structure, premise, or use <br />which at the time of its establishment did not comply or conform with the applicable <br />conditions or provisions of the City Code which were in effect at such date, and which <br />continues such noncompliance and nonconformance with the present City Code. <br /> <br /> Nonconforming Use - Legal - A building, structure, premise, or use <br />which at the time of its establishment was in compliance and conformance with the <br />applicable conditions and provisions of the City COde whiCh were in effect at such date, <br />but which does not now comply or conform to conditions and provisions of the current <br />City Code. <br /> <br /> Normal High Water Mark - A continuous mark of reference at an <br />elevation where land and water meet for some period of record; is commonly that point <br />where the natural vegetation changes from predominantly aquatic to predominantly <br />terrestrial. <br /> <br /> Nursing Home, Rest Home or ConvaIescent Home - A building having <br />accommodations where care is provided for two or .more invalidS, infirmed, aged, <br />convalescent, or physically disabled persons that are not of the immediate family; but not <br />including hospitals, clinics, sanitariums or similar institutions. <br /> <br /> Off-street Loading Space - A space accessible from the street, alley or <br />way, in a building or' on the lot for the use'of trUcks while loading or unloading <br />merchandise or materials. Such space shall be of such size as to accommodate one truck <br />of the type typically used in the particular business and shall be exclusive of general <br />public and employee parking spaces. <br /> <br /> Open Sales Lot - Any open land used Or Occupied for the purpose of <br />buying selling and/or renting merchandise and for the storing-of same prior to sale. <br /> <br /> Operable Motor Vehicle - A vehicle that can be presented in a self- <br />propelled condition within seven (7) days of the City's request for such action. <br /> <br />9.02 .- Definitions 9-15 Jan.
