Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #03-02-~ <br />Proclaiming the month of March as Minnesota Food Share lnonth. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING YOUTH FIRST MAYORS' PRAYER BREAKFAST <br />DAY <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Resolution #03-02- <br />Proclaiming Youth First Mayors' Prayer Breakfast Day Friday, March 21, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Joll Enstrom, 8702 181st Avenue, Ramsey, stated that he is in the process of building a 115~acre <br />lake on his property that could be seriously impacted by the engineering firm that works for the <br />Lower Rum River Watershed District and has recently been criticized for the work they have <br />done for MnDOT. He stated that the same issues he is facing with his project will also impact <br />the City by being charged excessive fees on City projects. This engineering finn has no concern <br />for taxpayers. In March the term for Barr Engineering with the Watershed District will be up for <br />renewal and he requested that the City request that more bids be received from other engineering <br />groups. The fact that Barr Engineering has no time element is a problem, which is why the <br />Governor is investigating them right now as it pertains to MnDOT. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Strommen, Cook, <br />Elvig, Pearson, and Zimmerman.
