P50 <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak noted that the Council has decided that the work sessions will be held the <br />first Tuesday every month in an open forum. City Attorney Goodrich noted that what the <br />Council was contemplating was not closing the meetings, only taking them off camera. The <br />meetings will always be open to the public. . <br /> <br />Motion carried~ Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, and Pearson. <br />Voting No: Councitmembers Kurak, Strommen, and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #11: Report from the Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on January 14, 2003, to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Health Insurance Contribution Contract Negotiations <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-01- <br />013 approving the 2003 City's contribution toward the cost of Health Insurance Benefits <br />for members of AFSCME and non-union employees, as well as approve a contingency <br />transfer of $8,000 to cover the cost of this benefit. <br /> <br />Receive Information about Resignation of Full-Time Human Resources Manager <br />and Ratify Interim Human Resources Manager <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution <br />//03-01-014 accepting Patrick Leadens' resignation from the position of Human <br />Resources Manager effective December 26, 2002.
