MARKET RESEARCH
Market research was conducted through a basic internet search for winter, holiday,
craft, and vendor markets located approximately within a one -hour drive of Ramsey. High-
level information was noted for each event, including location, host organization, venue type,
whether the event was indoor or outdoor, frequency or duration, and any notable scale
indicators such as vendor count, size, or years of operation. This should be understood as
a general market scan rather than an exhaustive inventory, as many events do not post
details or accept applications until later in the year or are difficult to find with standard search
queries.
Markets were generally included if they had an established history, had already posted
2026 information, or were reasonably expected to return based on prior years. One long-
standing market that concluded in 2025 was also included for context. Small brewery pop-up
markets and winter extensions of existing farmers markets were excluded from the main
list because both are common throughout the region and would make a fully exhaustive
inventory difficult.
The market scan indicates that overall winter and holiday market activities are well
represented in Ramsey and the broader region through a mix of private operators, nonprofit
4 City of Ramsey / Winter Market Feasibility Study
