Council may wish to provide <br />direction on one or more of <br />the following: <br />• Whether to take no further action on a <br />winter market at this time <br />Whether to direct staff to conduct <br />additional research on a potential <br />2027 winter market and, if so, at what <br />general scale <br />• Whether Council is interested in a <br />small-scale 2026 market concept tied <br />to an existing event <br />• Whether staff should conduct <br />community outreach and/or vendor <br />interest testing before any further <br />market development <br />• Whether Council wishes to identify the general level of City investment and resources to <br />be considered for any additional research or future winter market implementation <br />Whether Council wishes to provide direction on any winter market options or next steps <br />it would not like staff to pursue further at this time <br />• Whether Council has any other priorities, considerations, or expectations staff should <br />take into account before pursuing any next steps related to a winter market <br />31 <br />
