CounCilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoPtion: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FROM WAYNE 'AND PAMELA <br />STEINKE TO EXCEED THE HEIGHT AND SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR DETACHED <br />ACCESSORY BUILDINGS ON PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE <br />METROPOLITAN URBAN SERVICE AREA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Wayne and Pamela Steinke, hereinafter referred to as the "APplicants,'' <br />have properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the height and size restrictions for <br />detached accessory buildings on properties located in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area <br />(MUSA) on the property generally known as 15661 Juniper Ridge Drive N.W: and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 5, Block 1, Reilley Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF ..THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicants appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 1, 2002, and that said public' hearing <br /> was property advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated. <br /> by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential and is located Within the Metropolitan <br /> Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is approximately .7 acres in size. <br /> <br />That City Code restricts detached accessory building height to sixteen (16) feet on Properties <br />that are located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUsA). <br /> <br />That the Applicants would like to construct an accessory building that Will be approximately <br />21 feet 5 inches in height. <br /> <br />That City Code restricts the Subjec.t Property to. a tOtal of 1,488 square feet of accessory <br />building space. <br /> <br />That the Applicants have a primary garage of 760 square feet; the new accessory building is <br />proposed to be 768 square feet in size; resulting in a total of 1,528 square feet of accessory <br />building on the Subject Property; net result is a 40 square foot overage in the 1,488 squ~are <br />foot limit. <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> <br />
