Anoka County Commissioners Applaud Inclusion of S. 2309 in Veterans Legislation — Add <br />1 <br />This legislation brings about improved accountability, more accurate records, and reduced <br />improper payments. These improvements strengthen public trust while ensuring resources remain <br />available to support veterans and their families. Good government is about serving people when <br />they need it most. <br />"Thank you to the bipartisan leaders on both sides of the Capitol for advancing legislation <br />that reflects the needs of veterans and the families who supported them throughout their service," <br />said Chair of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners Scott Schulte. "Our nation makes a <br />promise to every man and woman who wears the uniform. That promise extends to their families. <br />By including S. 2309 in this legislation, Congress has demonstrated that supporting veterans also <br />means supporting those they leave behind.
