AMENDED <br />252 <br />253 (b) Such Notice shall be issued immediately or as soon as practicable after bids are opened and <br />254 shall stipulate that the contract award is conditioned on the issuance of a written Contractor <br />255 Responsibility Determination for the firm as required by Section 2-1101.6, compliance <br />256 with Subcontractor Certifications required by Section 2-1101.5, and any other qualification <br />257 standards required by the City, or by requirements of other laws. <br />258 <br />259 § 2-1101.5. Subcontractor Responsibility Requirements <br />260 (a) Within fourteen (14) days of receiving a Notice of Intent to Award Contract, the <br />261 prospective awardee shall submit a Subcontractor List, which provides the name and <br />262 address of the subcontractors it will use on the project, the scope of work assigned to each <br />263 subcontractor, and Subcontractor Responsibility Certifications as required by this section. <br />264 <br />265 (b) The prospective awardee shall not be permitted to use a subcontractor on any work <br />266 performed for the City unless it has identified the subcontractor on its Subcontractor List <br />267 and provided a Subcontractor Responsibility Certification in accordance with the <br />268 requirements of Section 2-1101.5. <br />269 <br />270 (c) At the time a prospective awardee submits the Subcontractor List it shall also submit <br />271 Subcontractor Responsibility Certifications and applicable supporting information for all <br />272 listed subcontractors to the City. <br />273 <br />274 (d) A prospective awardee shall determine whether any firm on its Subcontractor List is <br />275 organized as a sole proprietorship owned and operated by a single person. This shall apply <br />276 to subcontractors at any tier. For any such entity, the prospectivee awardee shall ensure <br />277 that the sole proprietorship subcontractor is a legitimate business entity and not a <br />278 misclassified employee by requiring the subcontractor to supplement its Subcontractor <br />279 Certification with its Employer Identification Number and copies of any license, certificate <br />280 or registration it is required to maintain in to do business in the state in which it is located. <br />281 <br />
