COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT • <br />Objective: Facilitate Community Development by implementation of Community <br />Comprehensive Plan and Council Policy. <br />General <br />1. Complete scanning of Department files in anticipation of the move to the new <br />Ramsey Municipal Facility. <br />2. Create a Department -wide Procedural Manual. <br />Planning Work Plan <br />I .. Continue to implement the Ramsey Town Center Project. (ongoing) <br />2. Begin the 2008 Comprehensive Plan update. <br />3. Complete update of Critical River and Scenic River, ordinances. <br />4. Continue to coordinate Business Tours as directed by the EDA (ongoing). <br />5. Create development proposal template for new businesses. <br />6. Market Ramsey business parks to attract quality development (ongoing). <br />7. Continue to coordinate communication opportunities between the City and <br />the local business community through events such as the Business <br />Connection Meeting (ongoing). <br />8. Continue publishing Business Connection (ongoing). <br />9. Continue to explore the construction of monument signage at key City entry <br />points. <br />10. Provide QCTV Updates as necessary for Economic Development (ongoing). <br />11. Acquire additional properties for redevelopment in the Critical Blight <br />Redevelopment Area (Dekok, Brown, Parks). <br />12. Implement 2007 Economic Development Authority (EDA) Work Plan. . <br />Housing Work Plan <br />1. Adopt a Housing Plan for the community. <br />2.
