Letter of Support <br />June 6th, 2026 <br />Dear City Council, <br />I am writing to express my strong support for the Gather initiative. Through my work at Northgate <br />Church, I have had the privilege of working closely with Melinda McDermitt, the founder and director of <br />Elevate Hope House. <br />I am consistently impressed by the impactful work Elevate Hope House performs for mothers in crisis. <br />The organization continues to evolve its approach to meeting the needs of women and children facing <br />challenging situations with limited support systems. Gather represents a vital next step in this mission <br />by providing affordable housing, job training, and employment opportunities all under one roof. <br />I believe this project will provide essential resources for our community, and I urge the Council to <br />support its development.
