Motion by Coinrnissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Musgrove, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Ordinance #26-12, Amending Chapterl06 Pertaining to Outdoor Storage, changing <br />the five-acre requirement to one-acre. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Gengler, Commissioners Bauer, Musgrove, Allshouse, <br />Lubarski, and Sanoe. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Cochrane. <br />Planning Manager Larson noted that the second part of this request will come before the Planning <br />Commission at the next meeting, for the business to request the Conditional Use Permit, should <br />the Council adopt the Ordinance. He noted that request would also include a second principal <br />structure on the lot. <br />7.COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />None. <br />8.COMMISSION / ST AFF INPUT <br />Planning Manager Larson highlighted items that will come before the Commission at its July and <br />August meetings. <br />Commissioner Bauer asked if the ARAA project is moving ahead. <br />Planning Manager Larson replied that the City portion of it continues to follow that process, but <br />ARAA is still working out the financing. <br />Commissioner Bauer asked if it is still on target for Kwik Trip and the splashpad to open before <br />July 4I11. <br />Planning Manager Larson confirmed that is still a realistic date for the splashpad. He commented <br />that Kwik Trip plans to open once the Bunker Lake Boulevard construction is completed and noted <br />that the business plans to hold a grand opening celebration in September, even though the business <br />would be open before that time. <br />9.ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Coinmissioner Lubarski, seconded by Commissioner Allshouse, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Gengler, Commissioners Lubarski, Allshouse, Bauer, <br />Musgrove, and Sanoe. Voting No: None.
