Please tabulate the total inches of Siberian Elm, which is an invasive <br />species, separately (similar to what was done for "Tree Inches Removed for Ponding". This will <br />lower the amount of reforestation required (commercial project are to preserve 30% of the <br />significant tree DBH inches on site). Once the tabulation of Siberian Elms is included, it appears <br />that about 12% of significant tree DBH inches will be preserved. But, the inventory didn't include <br />the existing significant trees (if there are any) on the already developed portion of the site. That <br />means the preservation percentage would likely be greater than 12%. Please note that if at least <br />30% of the existing significant tree DBH inches are not preserved, additional plantings will be <br />required (1.25" for every 1" beyond the removal threshold or $125 per every 1" removed beyond <br />the threshold, or a combination of the two). <br />--------- 0 Replies ---------
