PUBLIC HEARING <br />6.01: PUBLIC HEARING: Approve 3.2 Malt Liquor Off-Sale Liquor License for Kwik <br />Trip, Inc. located at 8040 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Community Development Director Hanson presented a request to approve a 3.2 percent malt liquor <br />off-sale license for the new Kwik Trip location at 8040 Bunker Lake Boulevard Northwest, <br />scheduled to open during July. Staff reported that the required background investigation had been <br />completed and approved by the Police Chief and recommended approval of the license. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />Mayor Heineman opened the public hearing and invited public comments. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br />No one spoke in favor of or against the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peters, seconded by Councilmember Stewart, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heineman, Councilmembers Buscher, Peters, Riley, Specht, <br />and Stewart. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Peters, to approve a 3.2 Malt <br />Liquor Off-Sale Liquor License for Kwik Trips, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br /> <br />6.02: Public Hearing: Adopt Resolution #26-156 Approving Redevelopment Project Area <br />and Plan <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Economic Development Manager Sullivan presented Resolution #26-156, establishing a <br />redevelopment project area and redevelopment plan for the proposed athletic facility.
