Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-165 RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE AND MULTIPLE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURES ON A LOT AT 14485 AZURITE STREET NW WHEREAS, Mr. John Grotkin of RJ Ryan Inc., on behalf of his client, LH Road LLC (Wildlife Research), has submitted an application for a Conditional Use Permit on property legally described as: Lot 1, Block 1, Wildlife Research Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the “Subject Property”) WHEREAS, The Subject Property is guided for Business Park uses in the adopted 2040 Comprehensive Plan and zoned I-1 Light Industrial District; and WHEREAS, The existing and proposed uses of office, manufacturing, and warehousing are permitted uses within the I-1 Zoning District; and WHEREAS, The proposed uses of outdoor storage and a second principal structure on a parcel are considered conditional uses within the I-1 Zoning District per Sections 106-520 through 106-525; and WHEREAS, The proposed uses are not anticipated to be detrimental to the site and to neighboring properties or adjacent roadways; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission reviewed the proposed uses at its meeting on July 23, 2026, and recommended ____________; and WHEREAS; The City Council reviewed the Planning Commission’s recommendation on August 11, 2026. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage and multiple principal structures on a lot is hereby approved with the following conditions: A. Outdoor Storage. 1. Outdoor storage is limited to a 50-by-82-foot paved area along the north side of the warehouse building. 2. The outdoor storage area must be enclosed by a minimum six-foot tall fence and screened from views from Sunfish Lake Boulevard by trees or a privacy fence.
